Excellent career opportunity for BILINGUAL (Spanish/English) experienced Family Based Immigration Paralegal to join one of the busiest and fastest growing Law Firms in Illinois.



Our Family Based Immigration practice area is experiencing significant growth, so we require a highly skilled, career driven individual to join our team providing excellent service and representation for our clients.



Assist attorneys in the preparation and filing of immigration applications and petitions with government agencies. Draft legal documents for review by attorneys. Areas of practice include Removal Defense, Asylum, VAWA, U Visas and Family based visas, Permanent Residencies, Naturalization and Consular Processing.



You should should have a passion for assisting our clients through the challenging process of immigration.




Job Requirements

The ideal candidate must be able to manage complex tasks efficiently; prioritize work load in extremely time-sensitive field of law; meet strict deadlines; be extremely detail oriented and have the ability to edit carefully; provide outstanding client service; flexible and adaptable to fast-paced environment; organized; self-motivated with strong initiative; have a positive attitude; have a professional demeanor. Fluency in Spanish is REQUIRED.

Knowledge & Skills Preferred: 



Must be technology savvy with proficiency with Word, Excel and Outlook. 

Experience with case management system is a plus.

Must have excellent written communication skills.

MUST be Fluent in SPANISH and English

Ability to thrive in a busy environment



Experience preferred



Should have 3+ years Legal Assistant or Paralegal experience (including any internship experience) with at least 2  years experience in family based immigration. High volume case load experience is preferred.
